I think the right wing is so delusional with power that they actually believe thier own "Osama paranoia" Osama & Co. has these assholes right where he wants them, I tend to beleive it is your first suggestion.

1. the terror networks are deliberately feeding false information in order to keep the american security forces running around like blue arsed flies...this is incredibly easy to do given the jittery state of the u.s. intelligence departments..just keep up the email chatter mentioning buildings etc.etc ..or....................................
2. it's a political ploy by the bush administration to show the trembling american public what a grand job they're doing protecting everybody.....take your choice madbaker
