Personally, I think he poisoned himself, to get the "sympathy" vote, or at least to make it look like the opposition had poisoned him...

  Canada has sent 500 election observers to the Ukraine. 

  The point being, at least the people of the Ukraine "made an effort" to call their latest electoral event a fraud.
