Forget six-party talks. South Koreans have found a better way to engage North Korea. According to a survey conducted by a Seoul-based matchmaking agency, seven in 10 South Korean bachelors would happily marry a North Korean woman.

Their reasons? Almost half said northern women are not as sophisticated as their southern counterparts, one-third cited their “natural beauty” while 15 per cent said they would be more obedient. The US will be hoping the latter applied to the regime as well as the ladies.
