E-Mail ThisIt also brings into the question conflicts of interest re National Geographic and its 2-hour special on the GoJ; i.e., the particular "slant" that NG gave to the special, which, until the very last few minutes, was undeniably an attack on Christian orthodoxy. It is not that I believe that all Christian orthodoxy is correct - after all, I rail against the Christian Right and the "mainstream, heirarchical, organized" capital c Church as much or more than anyone. But the special contained undeniably deliberate omissions and suggestions that were not just incorrect, but insulting. . Yet the conflict of interest on the part of NG is not brought up at all in this article, or any other about this issue.
