I don't think we heard back, nor did we ever hear back from his friend Skip 
that was on the list for a while looking for him.

The archives mail contains more where-is-he-now emails about Oatis than any 
other Tribe member, with the late Vicky Medlin as a close second. Most of 
the people looking for Oatis are old friends. He was so memorable...
