There is indeed a Mexican cast album of Hair, and it is as Dauber describes. 
The link he sent was the only place I was aware of it's being available 
currently. Our own Corinne Broskette plays Sheila on it.

Yes, Hair in Mexico was shut down by the authorities, and the company 
escorted out of town. Several articles about it in the articles section of 
the Archives web site. We also have Corinne's recollections in the Voices of 
the Tribe project. OK with you if I post them here, Corinne?
