[Mb-hair] Intro to all

 Hello all,

My name is Russ Carlson, way back when, most knew me as Rusty, and I am sending this intro mail to put the word out there, that I am fine and doing well. Never joined this type of list before, so I am not sure how much info is needed from me to start making contact with ex-HAIR folks.

To refresh some memories, I started with HAIR as an assistant stage manager with the LA production in the Fall of 1969. Stayed with the show until it closed in 1971. I then became the PSM for the National tour. I joined in Milwaukee and stayed well into 1972.

>From then to now is too long of a story, but briefly, I am now and have been for the last 15 years been a lighting director/gaffer for a large production house in Columbus, Ohio. The name of the company is Mills\James Productions. This job has kept me incredibly busy over that time. We do corporate videos, broadcast shows, make commercials regionally and nationally,and do live corporate events all over the planet.  I have designed lights for such large corporate events such as Honda of America, Express, Scotts, SBC,Victoria's Secret, J.P. Morgan Chase, and too many to go on. I won a regional emmy for a major event the United Nations did here in Columbus. Sort of fun, I guess.
