has been coordinating sound for the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival for 
the past 28 years and has started a fund to raise money to put 
instruments in the hands of musicians quickly and effectively. Go to

Tipitina's Foundation is fighting to save and rebuild the New Orleans

Baton Rouge, LA 70806. They have a direct line to musicians needing 
clothing, housing, gigs, medical help, money.  You'll see things like 
"Bob French needs a drum set ASAP"  and "Big Chief Peppy Eugene and his 
wife Wanda and their 2 young children need a place to live in Baton 
Rouge"  listed on their site.

WWOZ  Become a member of New Orleans's listener supported jazz and 
heritage FM station in exile (from  blues to jazz, cajun and gospel)
