Corinne, all you virulent anti-smokers would be much more believable if
you spent nearly the same amount of time protesting car emissions.

You breathe in more crap walking a few feet down the street, then you
will ever get from second hand smoke.

(Oh. And all those second hand smoke reports from several; years back?
They were scientifiiclly proved, to be bogus.  But that didn't get quite
as much ink, in the morning news...)

My favorite line from New York City's smoking ban. which started almost
three years ago, belonged to a waitress, at Bleecker Street's
"Back Fence":

"If the Mayor is so worried about my well-being, let the city pay a
third of my rent..."

With some significant exceptions, and perhaps you're one of them, so
many of the folks who get in your face about not smoking are really just
delighted to have something to be haughty about.

'Sort of like Moonies, with a nasty streak.


Now, shall we talk about the tar content of your average joint?


It will be much more benificial when all the anti-smoking people start
turning their attention to all the crap put every day, into the
envronment.

But, of course, that would take more effort, than just beng smug.
