Re: HAiR at California State University, Northridge, California.
CAUTION: If you wish to purchase tickets for the CSUN production of HAiR
over the phone BE SURE THAT YOU CALL THE BOX OFFICE DURING ITS WORKING HOURS
AND HAVE, IN FACT, REACHED THE BOX OFFICE LOCATED ON THE CAMPUS! The $4.00
surcharge will be applied once per order. If you call while the campus box
office is closed, your call may be automatically forwarded to a commercial
ticketing company with very unsavory business practices. One person that I
know was lied to about ticket pricing, porked very badly on the additional
fees, and then these fees were applied PER TICKET rather than once per
order! BE CAREFUL!!!!!

Saturday, May 6, 2006
Sunday, May 7, 2006
Wednesday, May 10, 2006

Sunday, May 14, 2006 - Closing 3:00pm Matinee
Prices:
General Admission: $19.00

Tickets may be purchased at the box office located in the Student Union
complex on Zelzah avenue (metered parking in lot G4), or by phone at (818)
677-2488 (a $4.00 surcharge is applied per order for tickets purchased by
phone). WARNING: Tickets are already on sale even though it is over 2 and
one-half months before opening, and they are reportedly selling briskly. As
the theater seats only 350 to 400 people (it's their mid-sized room) seating
is limited.
I had a long and very interesting conversation with the director, Professor
Garry Lennon, and I was very impressed with his knowledge of, and feeling
for, HAiR. It should be a most memorable production! Professor Lennon
should be joining this list soon -- as soon as I send him the subscription
directions.
Maybe we could get a HAiR group together to see the show and visit with the
tribe. The box office said that there is also a possibility of being given
a group rate. Hebe and I have already reserved for both opening and closing
nights, but would certainly love to go an additional night(s) if that works
out better. We had better get on this soon, though, as I expect the run to
sell out quickly.
Blessed be with peace, love, freedom, and joy!
John
