Of course, this all comes under the neat euphemisms of “change” and “progress.” Sickening.

Posted on 02-Jul-07 at 4:58 pm | PermalinkWell there are still some stunningly beautiful places in this part of the world, which are reasonably priced but of course they are a lot further away than the Hamptons or the Dordogne and that is their saving grace. Generally it is the hippies and travellers, who find the beautiful places and they get a bit fashionable and then the less imaginative but richer people move in. It is a process which is well under way now in Patagonia.
