Hi all,

My name is Jon Rosen and I will be directing a 6-week production of HAiR in San Jose this summer (July 14-August 20). I am very excited to be part of this wonderful show again (I co-directed a production in Santa Cruz in 2002 although we weren’t connected at all to the mailing list or other resources at that time, sigh) and to have what appears to be an incredible global village of tribe members who have done this before and who seem willing to offer help in whatever form they can.

I am planning to travel to Los Angeles on Thursday, March 15, to attend the closing performance of Fullerton College’s production of HAiR. If anyone is interested in meeting up with me, that would be terrific. Tickets are relatively inexpensive ($15 top, $12.50 for seniors/students) and there were tickets available on Friday when I bought mine. If anyone else is interested, I can call the box office and see if we can sit together.

I will be posting more details about our San Jose production as soon as we have more concrete details like audition dates, times, ticket availability, tribe members (and tribe name), etc. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me by email at jon at stagelightproductions dot org. I hope to meet some of you over the next four months, either online or in person!Â
