Galt MacDermot club dates in NYC in June
For those of you in the NYC area, Galt and his New Pulse Jazz Band will be performing
every Monday night in June at 8pm at:
The West Bank Cafe
407 W. 42nd Street
New York, New York
I saw their opening night last Monday and believe me, they ROCK!! Unlike the Carnegie Hall concerts, which have a more formal feel, this is an intimate club setting where they all cut loose.  It’s worth it just to see Galt perform the Hair songs without singers, where his piano takes the lead. However the singers will be present on June 4 (I call them the MacDermettes – Catrice Joseph Hart, Suzanne Griffin and Melanie May Po. Not sure if Luther Creek will be in attendance…)
