Cast Biographies
Having played everything from a love-sick teen in The Fantasticks to a scarecrow without a brain in The Wiz to an Elephant Man, Jesse Swimm is please to recreate the role of Woof in the Windy City after a successful run at CSUF with the Pacific Musical Theatre Company. Jesse began his professional career at age 16 as the Artful Dodger in Oliver! at the Laguna Moulton Playhouse. Other favorites include Bobby Child in Crazy for You, Brett/Ralph in Working, and Matt in The Fantasticks. Peace and love to my family in California and thanks for all of the support.
Jonathan Talmadge has performed in over 40 plays and musicals. Favorite roles include Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Frank Strang in Equus. Jonathan writes poetry and enjoys going to readings whenever he can. He also plays the guitar.
Sacha Vaughn is thrilled to be making her musical debut in HAIR. Originally from the midwest, she is currently in her last year of the acting program at CSUF. Recent credits include Quinice in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Elizabeth in Laundry and Bourbon, and Sandy in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. She is thankful for SUNSHINE and hopes its powerful rays touch the world. It's time to get back to the Age of Aquarius!
Kelvin Watson is a senior at the CSUF and is earning his BA degree in both the Economics and Theatre/Dance programs. His performance background includes numerous dance-related projects in the southern California area and over a seven year affiliation with the Winter Guard International Olympics.
Dana Yoon gives all glory to God. A sociology major attending CSUF, she gives her unending gratitude to her loving family and friends. Making her theatre debut with such a gifted and beautiful cast has been such an adventure for her. "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works" (Hebrews 10:24).
Katie Zerga is happy to be in her hometown performing in her favorite musical for the third time, having played Jeanie and Diane in previous productions. She is a recent graduate of CSUF's actor training program. Some of her favorite roles are Aunt Dan in Aunt Dan and Lemon, Ballas in The Memorandum, and Ariel in Ariel Bright. Other credits include performing at the Anaheim Arena in Front and Center with Colin Powell, and at the Hollywood Bowl with The Mitch Hanlon Singers.
Alison Smith began acting at 21 in an acting for non-majors class and subsequently became a Psychology/Theatre double major. Her favorite credits include The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, The Night of the Iguana, and the 1920s Much Ado About Nothing. She plans to feed her shoe fetish while in Chicago.
