Kristin Anya Gangle, Assistant Choreographer, Dance Captain
After eight years in gymnastics, Kristen Gangle began her dance training in San Diego with members of the Jazz Unlimited and Culture Shock dance companies. She has since continued training in modern, jazz, and ballet and has gone on to perform, choreograph, and teach throughout Southern California as well as in Florida and London. Kristen is currently a senior dance major at CSUF where she has performed and/or choreographed more than 20 works for stage. Most recently she is excited to be Assistant Choreographer of HAIR and to be choreographing a film for artist/photographer Eileen Cowin. She hopes that someday her passion for movement will touch the souls of those who have touched hers.
Todd Mufatti, Scene Designer
Todd Mufatti has designed scenery for regional theatres including the Seattle Repertory and A Contemporary Theatre, where he designed over 40 productions. He has designed educational films for King Screen productions and miniature French period rooms for I. Magnin's jewelry department. Little Toddy grew up in New England. Master Todd attended prep school and built miniature stage sets as a hobby in preperation for later training in scene design and Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Washington. He is currently Professor Muffatti at California State University, Fullerton, where he teaches scene design, rendering, and model building and has designed over 90 productions. Mr. Mufatti has also served as the exhibition chair at the Decorative Arts Study Center in San Juan Capistrano and has designed contemporary furniture for Congnoscente of Los Angeles.
Susan Hallman, Lighting Designer
Susan Hallman has been a lighting designer at CSUF since 1977. Before coming to CSUF, she taught at the University of Texas at Austin and at Smith College. For eight seasons she was the resident lighting designer at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. In addition, Ms. Hallman has designed for the Gloria Newman Dance Theatre, the West Coast Ensemble Theatre, and Cabaret Repertory Theatre. Ms. Hallman teaches stage manegement and lighting design at CSUF.
Christine Walters-Murphy, Costume Designer
Christine Walter-Murphy is a part-time costume design and construction instructor and M.F.A. student in costumes at California State, Fullerton. She has designed "The Man of Mode" in November 1995 and Kaleidoscope Players Dance Troupe in January 1996, both for the University. Christine also works professionally during the summer for the Santa Fe Opera, Tuacahn Ampitheatre in Utah and Tulsa Ballet Theatre. She has worked in Theatre for over 7 years now and plans on working towards her USA Accreditation in costume design.
Jeff Fairbanks, Sound Designer
Jeff is a sound designer and composer based in Long Beach, California. His recent projects include musical compositions for "The Man of Mode" and "House of Blue Leaves" as well as sound designs for "Hitler's Head," "Guys and Dolls," "Gypsy," and "Arms and the Man." He has a BM in composition from Cal. State, Fullerton.
Michele A. Owen, Make-up/Hair Designer
Michele hails from Santa Rosa, California and has been involved in theatre for six years. HAIR is her 35th production. She has designed such shows as "Godspell", "Dracula," "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" and "The School for Scandal." Michelle spent three summers at Santa Rosa's Summer Repertory Theatre where, as the make-up/hair supervisor she has worked on several plays like "Mame" and "Singin' in the Rain." She would like to thank her family for their continued support.
Kristina Kennedy, Stage Manager
Since High school Kristina Kennedy has been involved with the technical side of theatre. She has stage managed several CSUF productions as well as productions at Grossmont College in San Diego. Tina, a true Aquarius, is excited to again work with this incredible cast.
