Boson - Two hair cast members drew suspended sentences in East Cambridge district court last Thursday (4) after being found guilty ofpossessing marijuana.  Judge M. Edward Viola imposed 30-day House of Corrections terms on both, but suspended execution of sentence and directed the defendants to be placed on probation until Oct. 2 if they elected not to appeal the conviction.

Teh jury verdicts were made against William E. Lendner, 19, of Midland Park, N.J., and Stephen G. Menkin, 20, of Hillside, N.J.  James Hamilton, the defense attorney, told Judge Viola that the pair have roles in Hair which recently reopened at the Wilbur Theatre after winning a reprieve from the U.S. Supreme Court.
