The Mecury Theater Timeline
- 1913:
- The building opened as "The Blane." It was a nickelodeon which showed silent movies.
- 1920:
- The building became a carpet cleaning factory until 1947.
- 1947:
- The property was purchased by the DeKoven Family and housed a variety of
businesses until 1994.
- 1994:
- The building was purchased by Michael Cullen and Joe Carlucci and now
houses The Mercury Theater, Cullen's Bar & Grill, and Strega Nona.
Strega Nona opened in 1995
Cullen's Bar & Grill opens February 25, 1996
The Mercury Theater opens February 14, 1996 with the production
of POPE JOAN
